Wallpaper and Paint Scheme I have
Choice to for the house
The following wallpaper and borders I have choice for my living room, parlor
and stairway. I will use the drape style border in the stairwell and in the spare
bedroom upstairs. The rose border will go in the living room and parlor.
As you can see in this sample from 1901 wallpaper and border book when I
picked my wallpaper and border I stayed with the roses and vine style that
was used in 1901 and the early part of the 1900s.
I got the paper for a great price on Ebay I found a seller who had 19 rolls of
the same paper and got all 19 rolls for only $56.00 delivered to my door.
The borders ran me like $3.00 a roll delivered if you look hard and wait you
can get some great buys on Ebay for your old house.
In the picture you can see how the paper will look next to the living room
window with a burgundy curtain. The stripped fabric on the settee is what
I have found to cover it in some day. It will blend in nicely.
The ceiling fan is a Hunter ceiling fan in a early 1900s style it will go in the
living room also. I will make a wood medallion to mount from.
Using the paint program I have on my computer I was able to put
different paint schemes on my house
and came up with this one.
