2008 Grant Work and
Painting the house
In 2008 I received a grant to work on my house. It involved stripping off the
old roofing and putting on new shingles, scraping and priming the house,
putting in new storm windows, putting up new rain gutters,  removing the
original knob and tube wiring and putting in new wiring. Then I painted the
house with a wheat shade of beige, trimmed in a dark blue and highlighted
in burgundy. All and all it made the house have a more Victorian look. You
