This page is dedicated to the old vintage mowers of years gone by. From the standard reel mowers to the old garden mowers.

Here is a old Johnson gas powered reel mower before and after restoring it. It was built in Ottumwa, Iowa and powered by a Clinton gas engine. It had belonged to a local lawyer and I bought it on his widow's estate auction

This old reel mower is powered by a Briggs and Stratton gas engine with motion coming the large rear tract wheel. Someone removed the name tag from the mower and the person I bought it from at the flea market wasn't sure of the marker. So if you know who made this mower I would could use your help. I hope I have time in the next couple years to restore it and several other mowers I have bought.

Here is a Stalwart trimmer and edger reel mower. The non wheel side of the mower would be used to trim next to your house and items. Then you could turn it over and edge your sidewalk. Just human power with this mower.

This a Worthington bush cutter powered by a Briggs and Stratton gas engine. It is missing a skirt and one of the metal wheels has been broken. I will have to search for a wheel and make the metal skirt from sheet metal. The cutters are blades form a old sickle style hay mower and can be replaced.

Here is a old Wizard mower sold by Western Auto hardware stores. It has a 2 cycle engine and when I wrote Western Auto even though their files on their mowers go way back they had nothing on this old model and weren't sure when it was sold. It has one interesting feature in that the exhaust has no muffler and empties straight into the mower deck.
